Health Need: Violence Prevention

One in four women are victims of intimate partner violence, and seven people per hour die a violent death in the U.S. Such violent actions also have long-term psychological impacts that ripple through families and neighborhoods. Interventions that address root causes and help people thrive in communities free from violent conflict are vital steps toward healthier communities.
