Penn Medicine’s trauma center works to save lives, and educate members of the community to take action when minutes count. Through participation in the nationwide Stop the Bleed campaign, Penn’s Level 1 Trauma Center staff provide education to the local Philadelphia community with basic tools and information on the simple steps that can be taken in an emergency situation to stop life-threatening blood loss.
